New Zoning (Land Use) Permits:
On May 3, 2010 the Board of Trustees voted to initiate a $50 application fee for a Zoning (Land Use) Permit. The fee will help offset the Township’s cost of issuing a permit.
The advantage of a separate Zoning (Land Use) Permit is that it allows for a separate review process and ensures proper record keeping and documentation. The disadvantage of the past practice of using a zoning compliance check-off made it difficult to enforce all zoning regulations related to changes in land use when a building permit was not required.
The new application fee is consistent with Clinton County’s cost for a Land Use Application. The following link is the Bath Charter Township Zoning (Land Use) Permit Application
