The Bath Charter Township Fire Department has openings for volunteer firefighters. These are paid “on-call” positions available to local residents who are able to quickly respond to our service area of Bath Charter Township.

All training and equipment provided.

The Bath Township Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS – Minimum qualifications for the position are:

  • Must be a citizen of the United States
  • Must have reached 21st birthday at time of appointment

Bath Charter Township is seeking to hire an Assistant Cook at the Senior Center. Duties will include, but will not be limited to supporting the Senior Center Head Cook with developing a nutritional and balanced menu, preparing and serving meals on a regular schedule in the Senior Center; purchasing food and other kitchen supplies per Senior Center budget and regulations; maintaining kitchen and meal site inventory; and maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen. Assistant to the Clerk Job Description

Bath Charter Township is seeking to hire two (2) part-time DPW Summer Workers. This position is available during the months of April through October. The primary responsibility will be weed trimming the Township cemeteries during the summer months. Additional duties may include other landscape work, such as mulch spreading, weeding flower beds, debris clean up, maintaining waste receptacles, and other work as assigned.

This position requires a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation. Wage is $14.00 – $16.00 per hour, up to 32 hours per week.

This position has physical demands including the ability to undertake hard manual labor; prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and stretching required; manual dexterity to operate and use various tools, devices and equipment; physical agility to walk, climb into confined spaces; may occasionally involve working with chemicals; requires working outdoors frequently during all weather conditions; lifting of construction materials, supplies and equipment weighing minimum of 75 pounds.
